Olympus
MIXED REALITY EXPERIENCE
The Olympic park represents a massive financial and infrastructural undertaking every four years. Each incarnation takes eight years of planning to execute, and in the past two decades many resultant stadiums have become white elephants. When most of the world experiences the Olympics through media, why not translate built architectural space into virtual architectural experience? Olympus is a virtual and augmented reality interface that substitutes the built park for an optimized, fully-integrated media space. The future of architecture is in spatial experience, not in built form.
